From the moment I entered the door I knew I was going to enjoy some real authentic, fresh and flavorful Mexican food. I was not disappointed! I’ve already spread the word with the family that I found the best taqueria and we will be coming back!!

Five Stars! Our first lunch here was a total win. Great service and truly delicious food. The chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas (from the "two can dine" menu) were a huge hit, and the fried ice cream was the perfect dessert to seal the deal. We'll definitely be back

I've been to a dozen taquerias, and Taqueria La Morena is hands-down the best. This is my go-to spot for incredible, authentic tacos. I ordered the cabeza and steak tacos, and they were phenomenal. The amount of meat they give you is generous—you definitely get your money's worth! More importantly, the food was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy. Beyond the amazing food, the staff was extremely nice and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The place itself is also super clean and well-kept. If you're looking for the best tacos around, look no further. Highly recommended!

Tried Taqueria La Morena for the first time and it did not disappoint! The food was super fresh and full of flavor — everything tasted homemade. The portions were big, and the service was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was really chill. Definitely found my new go-to spot for Mexican food!

Stopped in while visiting Locust Grove. Food was delicious. The orange salsa in the squeeze bottle was good, almost like a spicy nacho cheese but it’s not. I wish there was a spicier sauce but that’s just me. The tacos already come w a half chile toreado and the optional green and orange salsa. I would also prefer if the meat were a little less salty. However…none of that stopped me from enjoying my tacos. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ETA: Service was great. No wait time and our server was very attentive.

We have so many Mexican restaurants in Locust Grove to choose from, however this one is the absolute best! We went AGAIN today and again, it did not disappoint! The salsa was better than ever today! I think what has impressed me the most is their sauces. Everytime I order something new, I get to experience another amazing sauce that just elevates my food to another level! The staff is super friendly as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic flavor and great service!

Went on a Friday night and it was busy but no wait! That parking lot has always been garbage for all those poor businesses in that strip so be prepared for that. Food and prices were great and very fresh. Only complaint was their salsas for the chips and pupusas was sorta bland, had to spicy them up some. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, great experience and will most definitely be returning to try more!!!
